Dear Editor
The country is in a massive crisis, Railway I chaos, Crime soaring, Council Tax rising, NHS understaffed, Illegal immigration out of control, soldiers in Iraq supplied with inadequate equipment, University funding. So with all this going on what does our Kent Labour party think is in important “Teaching Homosexuality to school children”!
When will this Government and New Labour get the message we are fed up with Political Correctness and the rights of Homosexuals we have far more important things to worry about. The great majority of the British feel that Homosexuals and Lesbians should not be persecuted or victimised even if we find their sexual deviances repulsive but we do not see why these people should be given extra rights. This government has done more to destroy the institution of marriage and has actively encouraged immorality with consequences we see today. Venereal Disease at epidemic proportions, children with no sense of right or wrong and I could go on.
Maybe the main religions of the World ie Christians, Jews and Muslims had it right when they insisted on rules and regulation, they all realised that Humans not only have rights they have responsibilities as well. It was not so long that the working classes were the mainstay of morality and discipline in this country and most of these were Labour voters, now their party has become a bye word for permissiveness and PC. The honest Labour party members are in the World War 1 saying “Hero’s led by Donkeys”
