Your letter pages on the illegal immigrants using the Coniston has certainly got the town talking, I realise I had letter printed last week but can I make a couple of points. Darren Taylor writes that we should accept the illegal immigrant and uses moral blackmail by trying to convince us that all those immigrants coming into this country are in fear of there life but by the governments own figures this equates to only 6%. Mr Taylor goes on condemn everyone who does not agree with him as a racist and a bigot. Yet he himself is a bigot for not listening to the fears of the majority and not getting his facts right, allowing the illegal immigrants into this country regardless like Mr Taylor suggest is not only impractical but also potentially dangerous. His point about the BNP and extremists group like the Anti-Nazi League is very dangerous but they exist because of the illegal immigrant situation, once this situation has been solved these groups will vanish into oblivion where they belong.
Your front page story from the 15 year old Asian boy made extremely good sense, the majority of British and Sittingbourne people are basically very tolerant have accepted people form far away lands especially since the 50’s but the big difference was that majority of those came from the British Commonwealth, understood what it was to be British, contributed to our society and way of life but most importantly they came here legally. The great majority of those coming into this country are illegal ie breaking to law, if a British Subject breaks the law they get punished (in most cases not very much).
I see nothing wrong in a multi cultural society but you must remember over 80% of England are white Englishman. If illegal immigration does not stop now we will see race riots and this will put Race Relations and multi cultural society back a 100 years and those to blame will be the government and those middle class lefties who seem to have all the power in this country. There is no alternative but to lock all illegal immigrants up and return them to their last port of call, this must be done no matter what the short term cost is for in the long term there will be a catastrophe.
