Dear Editor
Last week a poster was circulated by Swale Borough Council
titled "Help Combat Racism" in went on to offer
24-hour free phone telephone service.
So what is the percentage of Swale population is of an ethnic
minority?
When they say ethnic minority do they mean people who have a
different skin colouring?
Or do they mean some one who was not born in England?
Or do they mean someone who was not born in Swale?
How many incidents of racism have been reported in Swale?
Have there been any reports, if anyhow many have resorted in
criminal conviction?
Swale Borough Council and Swale Police Force (sorry Police
Service) do not have the answer, so who does?
THIS LEAFLET IS GUARANTEED
TO CAUSE PROBLEMS
In the business world if there is a saying "If
there is no market create one", this logic applies to this
leaflet or "if there is no problem make one".
This leaflet will add fuel to racists who are convinced that
people of a different colour are given preferable treatment, it
will also help those in the ethnic minority who wish to use the
system to their own advantage.
I guarantee that after this leaflet has been distributed you
will see more examples of so called racism if only to justify
the existence of the leaflet. This leaflet like the Race
relations board encourages racial animosity.
So who is to blame yes-good old Politically Correct Prime
Minister Tony Blair. The Council and the Police have been told
they have to carry out his government edict. Who pays for all
this extra work, extra staff, and free telephone not the
government but the local ratepayer!
I find incredible that we have a National Health system in
the final stage of collapse, Railways in total disarray, Fuel at
it’s highest price ever, taxation at its highest ever,
countless area’s under water because of flooding, Farmer after
farmer being force into bankruptcy, Britain being steamrolled
into a United States of Europe an what does Tony Blair do he
produces a leaflet on racism, he seems more interest in minority
groups and Politically Correctness, I expect his next leaflet
will be Help Combat Homophobia. It is about time he started
looking after the Great Majority rather then listen to his small
group of political advisors and spin-doctors.
I found it quite amusing that the leaflet was itself
Politically incorrect it mentioned that the free phone can give
advice in the following languages English, Bengali, Hindi,
Gujerati, Punjabi, Urdu, Tamil and French. There was no mention
of any other European language, African Tribal language, Middle
East language but most importantly no language from the Eastern
Block countries.
Did you notice that one of the languages was English what a
surprise that in England when you pick up the phone someone will
answer you in ENGLISH?
