Church & The Dome

Dear Editor
I recently attended a christening at St Michael’s Church, 4 youngsters were being baptised into the Christian faith. Only 4 children but the church was packed, several things occurred to me, the first being is that young people still believe in God and want their children brought up in the Christian faith, the faith of our country and the faith of our fore father’s. Another thing was when the vicar talked about how old St Michaels was, nearly a 1000 years old, Milton Regis Church I am told is 1400 years old. Here we have buildings, which were built in praise and honour of God and the Christian faith standing for over a thousand years, yet when men erect a building to honour their own vanity i.e. the DOME it is lucky to last 20 years! I wonder if there is someone up there trying to tell us some thing.
Yours Faithfully
